Rivka Steinberg
Assistant Scientist
Rivka Steinberg is Assistant Scientist at Chana, where she supports Dr Veronique Berman in advancing the organisation's science communication work. Her role includes coordinating the Medical Panel, fostering relationships with support workers, and helping to develop strategic partnerships and collaborations that strengthen Chana's impact across the community.
Alongside her scientific work, Rivka has a strong background in neurodiversity inclusion and advocacy, working with individuals, families and communities to promote greater understanding and create environments where people feel valued, supported and able to participate fully. Her experience includes Special Educational Needs and Disabilities advocacy, supporting families in navigating educational provision and promoting inclusive, child-centred outcomes.
Rivka holds a BSc in Biochemistry and an MSc in Medical Genetics and Immunology. Her passion for advocacy, combined with her commitment to evidence-based practice, enables her to bridge the gap between research, healthcare, and community support.
Rivka is dedicated to ensuring that scientific knowledge is communicated with clarity, compassion and accessibility, helping couples, families and professionals access the information and support they need.
