Breaking the silence of stillbirth - In memory of baby Ella

Hannah Kleiman bravely shares her personal story on how she dealt with the stillbirth of her baby daughter Ella at 32 weeks.

She talks about how she coped with not only being thrown into grief, but also into suddenly navigating the practical process of baby loss, both medically and halachically.

Hannah's story provides a window into the challenges and pain of a stillbirth, and will provide much needed comfort and information for anyone else who is sadly facing a similar challenge. Hannah's powerful story will also provide any listener with a better understanding of how we can support friends and family going through this experience.

Dr Natalie Getreu, Ovarian Biologist and COO of Hertility Health; and Dr Veronique Berman, Chair of Chana’s Medical Advisory Panel. In her role she liaises with experts in all disciplines within the field of male and female reproductive health. The discussion revolves around the latest technology and innovation in the fertility world, followed by Q&A.

Secondary infertility shares many of the same causes of primary infertility but is much less spoken about and in this episode we delve into why that may be.

Gila is a Chana Support Worker and an experienced family and couples’ psychotherapist. She has worked in various NHS settings, and now has a private practice working with couples and families.

Dayan Simons joined the London Beth Din in 2006. He has considerable expertise in Halacha and has published a sefer, 'Meil Shmuel'. He has lectured in Talmud, Halacha and Hashkafa.

In this episode we will be speaking to Dr. Amanda Tozer, exploring some of the most frequently asked questions about cycle and ovulation issues that seem to be impacting many couples in the jewish community.

Dr. Tozer is a consultant gynaecologist and sub-specialist in reproductive medicine at Aria Fertility, in Central London. She has spent more than 20 years assisting couples experiencing infertility, recurrent miscarriage and trouble conceiving.

We are very excited to share our new podcast, Unexpecting. Join Chana psychotherapists Shimon Schwab and Dr Romy Shulman in our first episode where we discuss male infertility, and the impact of miscarriage on men.

We hear from Marc Feigenbaum this episode, who speaks about how male infertility impacted him and his wife and the importance of having someone there to talk to when things get too much.

We also hear from Dan Rickman, about how he and his wife Alex were affected by their experience of miscarriage and why they made the brave decision to share their experiences on social media.
