Gavriel Rubin
Support Worker
Gavriel is an HCPC-registered psychotherapist with experience in NHS and community settings. He supports people’s emotional and mental well-being through creative therapies, including music, drama, dance, and play. He also offers EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitisation and Reprocessing), an evidence-based approach for processing trauma, anxiety, and other distressing experiences. His approach is warm, compassionate, and individually tailored.
Drawing on psychodynamic, humanistic, and creative therapies, Gavriel helps you explore how past experiences may be influencing you now, while also focusing on your strengths, emotions, and capacity for growth. You don’t need any musical or creative skills, just a willingness to be curious.
Gavriel also works in an NHS Mother and Baby Unit, providing music therapy for mothers experiencing mental health difficulties related to childbirth. Alongside this, he runs a private practice in NW London, supporting individuals living with mental health challenges, learning disabilities, autism, and those navigating life transitions such as grief, trauma, or adoption.
