Dena is a Chana Support Worker, counselling couples and individuals, providing them with therapeutic assistance. She is a Psychodynamic Psychotherapist, using varied modalities of practice to help clients through their counselling journey. Dena holds a Postgraduate Diploma in Integrative Psychotherapy from Goldsmith University of London and a Master’s degree from The Tavistock Portman Clinic University East London in Adolescent Psychodynamic Counselling. 

She has trained in trauma and dissociation with Kathy Steele, Childhood Emotional Neglect with Jonice Webb MD and has further training in Complex Trauma, ANS Polyvagal theory, Attachment theory, Compassion Focused therapy, Intergenerational trauma, Mindfulness and Positive Psychotherapy. 

Dena uses her training to help clients explore and deal with their anxiety, abuse, traumatic memories, depression, and lack of motivation.

She has worked for Raphael Jewish Counselling, as well as in a London NHS surgery as the practice therapist for four years and for Barnet Adolescent Services for over eight years. 

Dena has been a private practitioner for over 19 years and has experience working with adolescents and adults presenting with many difficulties and with her extensive ongoing training is eclectic in her approach.  She brings full engagement and active participation to her sessions with clients and is adaptable to their needs.

Dena is a member of BACP, Nachas Ruach and the European Society for Trauma and Dissociation.
