Avigail is a Chana Support Worker and a qualified and experienced psychotherapist, having received a Post Graduate Diploma in Psychotherapy and Counselling from Regent’s University, She is a member of the BACP – British Association in Counselling & Psychotherapy and following additional training, qualified as a psychosexual and couples’ therapist from Middlesex University.

Avigail has worked as a psychotherapist since 2009 and specialises in anxiety, bereavement, depression, infertility, cancer, stress and relationship issues. She offers a safe, confidential and non-judgemental space to help individuals develop a stronger, healthier sense of self.

Avigail works with individuals and couples providing face-to-face counselling sessions as well as via the telephone, Zoom and Skype sessions in the UK and overseas.

In addition to her work at Chana, Avigail works at Chai Cancer Care and in private practice. She has previously worked at Jewish Care and the Jewish Bereavement Counselling Service.

Avigail's theoretical framework is humanistic integrative - combining different therapeutic approaches to help individuals recognise their strengths, creativity and choice in the ‘here and now’.
