Shimon works with both couples and individuals as part of the Support Worker team at Chana.
An alumnus of the Yeshivos of Gateshead and Brisk, Shimon trained in both individual and couples Psychosexual Psychotherapy at Regent’s University, London before training under Chana’s auspices gaining the London Diploma in Psychosexual and Relationship Therapy and most recently trained in Forensic Psychotherapy at the Portman Clinic.
Shimon has extensive clinical experience in various mental health charities and the NHS, and currently maintains a private practice in Edgware alongside his work for Chana.
Within his role at Chana, Shimon liaises with Rabbis, clarifying any medical questions on their behalf when they are researching a Halachic question, as well as giving presentations and producing literature and resources for Rabbis, in partnership with Chana.
