Our Well Woman service offers women of all ages a source of comprehensive and reliable information about a wide range of matters relating to reproductive health and wellbeing.
Prevention
Well Woman is committed to providing a preventative service so that women and teenage girls can address issues of concern before they develop further and can consider the options available to them where relevant.
Helpline
Through the strictly confidential Well Woman Helpline, women can access information about gynaecological matters, whilst the Well Woman Support workers can offer guidance as well as medical information, always seeking advice from our dedicated Medical Advisory Panel where necessary. Helpline users can also access the Medical Advisory Panel indirectly themselves via the Helpline, when seeking a second opinion regarding a medical situation, for example.
Medical information evenings
At Well Woman medical information evenings, specialist medical information is presented, giving the audience the chance to learn about a broad variety of health and wellbeing matters that are of interest to the wider public. These events also afford the audience the valuable opportunity to direct their questions to distinguished medical experts.
