Chana’s Medical Advisory Panel consists of renowned specialists in the fields of:
- gynaecology
- general infertility
- male infertility
- endocrinology
- miscarriage
- genetics
- ultrasound scanning
The panel also includes GPs who are particularly sensitive to the needs of the Jewish community in North West London and Stamford Hill, as well as a paediatrician and medical liaison able to offer specialised input.
The role of the panel includes:
- advising and supporting Chana regarding medical information for members and support workers
- updating Chana on the latest medical breakthroughs
- acting as a source for referrals
- helping Chana to establish links with a range of medical specialists
Members of the public can access the specialised medical information available to Chana through the Medical Advisory Panel by contacting the Chana helpline.
The Medical Advisory Panel meets four times a year and is instrumental in helping Chana to develop its policies regarding medical issues.
This enables Chana to offer the highest quality service to the community. Many of our panel members kindly support us by speaking at our Well Woman and Chana specialist infertility events.
